You need to distinguish chaff from the wheat before you come to this conclusion. After all their effort to dislodge the Eritrean dictator from power and sway public opinion to their corner, the Eritrean snowflakes started to wage war, first against Eritrean martyrs, followed by burning, spitting or stepping on our flag and ultimately they joined the leeches to undermine our hard earned independence and sovereignty. According to their own leader, the Listro from aid-keyeh, his mission is to make Tigray a country and Eritrea a kill (region] within Tigray and they were also adamant that their movement is the extension hand of the TDF.

Your argument was that Ethiopia was not a colonizer of Eritrea like French or portugese were in Algeria and Angola to find correlation with the example I brought. My counter argument is, The federation pact between Eritrea and the Ethiopian empire which was signed after the defeat of the Italians was voluntarily, Eritreans accepted that Ethiopia would manage foreign and defense matters while Eritrea will manage the rest as autonomous region. Who do you think broke the pact? was it Eritreans who were stubborn and adamant that they told Haile selasie all of a sudden that they should take care their foreign relations and defense matters? No, it was Haile Selasie who broke the pact and was adamant that Eritrea should be regarded as 13 regions within Ethiopia and the local language Tigrigna should be scrapped from higher education and should be replaced by Amharic.
