Forming a defense pact with any country is a complicated matter.

Why would an Ethiopian, let alone me, Eritrean go to Ethiopia where Ethiopians themselves are getting killed and mutilated on daily basis? I know, for you agames, Ethiopia is still heaven.

I agree with some of you in regards to Ethiopia today. Like many pro Eritrean government supporters, we were sincerely stood on the side of Ethiopia during Ethiopia’s dark hours. We also adamantly genuinely supported Ethiopia’s unity as our government has done. However, after what the low IQ PM and his followers has done us wrong by betraying us for our goodwill; i also say there isn’t ANY Ethiopian government would be a friendly to Eritrea, today or hundred years to come; no matter from what ethnic they hail from. Now, i came to conclusion this time, Eritrea should work with any country, including Egypt, to weaken any Ethiopian government now or in the future. All the BS about “we are one people” is dead. No Eritrean should trust any Ethiopian government going forward.

First, Egypt is not a self-sufficient country and is one of the underdeveloped African countries. Egypt is simply out there for a hand out from each competing blocks.
