It's my strong belief that his life was spared by Shabia and Isayas Afwerki rather than by Mamo Killo. So the question should be why Isayas let this guy live while he killed the other two Woyane lords, Seyoum Mesfin and Aboy Tsehaye. To Eritrea, there is no “good guy” in Weyane’s fold.
