How Has Eritrea Achieved Food Security While Tigray in Particular and Ethiopia in General Haven't

Post by sesame » 29 Nov 2023, 08:14

How has Eritrea managed to be food secure despite the almost insurmountable obstacles it had faced for the past 25 years? And why have Tegaru, who had, as they say, the banks and tanks of Ethiopia, never managed to be food secure even for one year? The answer is simple, adherence to the fundamental principle of self-reliance. The EPLF adopted this from its inception at all levels. The greatest humiliation a people faces is to be dependent on others for its survival. And dependence was anathema to the Eritrean desire to be masters of our own destiny.

Early on, it was recognized that depending on rain-fed farming was the root cause of drought and food insecurity. Thus, the search for alternatives. In the past 30 years, Eritrea built over 900 small, medium and large dams. Water conservation became a religion and every village wanted its dam and got it. Eritrea shunned the conventional African development model which relies on building a shining capital city that rivals Western cities and abandons the rest of the nation to its fate. In Eritrea it was the opposite. Most development efforts were directed to the rural areas where the majority of the people live. Beautifying Asmara to swell the egos of a few was considered a waste of resources, as it is. I laugh when I see Agames post shabby pictures of Asmara. Eritreans do not value their achievements by how shining Asmara side-walks are but by other indices such as the low mortality rate among children and mothers giving birth, by high literacy rates, by dramatic increases in life-expectancy, by the insurances of food security across all population sectors, etc.

Unfortunately, Eritrea's desire to be self-reliant invited the hostility of the imperialist Western nations as it challenged their naked desire to keep Africans enslaved. They would not let Eritrea succeed lest it becomes an example to the rest of African peoples. And the neo-colonialists found a willing condom in the Agames to implement their anti-Eritrean agenda. But even despite the enormous challenges, Eritrea never knelt down. As we say, "Eritreans kneel down only to pray or shoot." Today, our neighbors are in shambles. The Agames, who sought to destroy our sovereignty, are now starving. And the Weyane-raised puppy, who back-stabbed us, will learn similar lessons. And you will never hear that Eritrea is suffering food insecurity!

Ethiopians will have to realize that they will never be an independent people as long as they depend on others for their basic food supplies. How humiliating to see a nation of 100 million treated the way USA treats Ethiopia.

Ethiopians as whole, Agames in particular see begging and receiving food aide or funds as not a shame but an art form. They proudly bragged on their government media that they are seeking “assistance” from donor nations to get xyz and also proudly display it once they receive it. Meanwhile, begging is cultural a taboo in Eritrean culture. When the EPLF was in the field, many so called “NGOs” and USAID aka CIA agents try to get close to the front by offering funds and food supplies to the fighters as well as to the people EPLF liberated. EPLF’s response was always, “thank you, but no thank you “. People like Gayle Smith, Samantha Powers, Susan Rice who were also the CIA agents turned their face to the little and not known Weyane and they were gladly accepted and treated like queens when they visited them in the field; it is that relationship that lasted thus far until Weyane is chased out it Arat Kilo. The rest is history

How much is the cost of kidneys now?

Get out of anything Ethiopia and move on.

Buy more weapons for the aged 70+ population and finish the banana republic to extinction.

Agamew, the son of cheap whorr Mekele
God only knows how many of your starving brothers and sisters who set a journey of deadly trip via Djibouti to immigrate as housemaids and corner prostitute have ended up donating their body parts to the Yemeni gangs or died of thirst on the Yemeni deserts. Agames are the last people on the planet to say anything about the proud people of Eritrea.

the proud people of Eritrea.
Ya proud. Lampdousa, Italy.
You are living on your own bubble.
Listen, speaking of housemaids, if you want to know visit the city of Rome on a Sunday and you can witness a sea of Eris housemaids. And there is a story that all these women are also sexual toys for active Italians who like to f…. behind.

I think it’s already too late for Eris. Your own arrogance and malicious intentions towards Ethiopia will destroy you.
You will see it on your lifetime.

Agamew, the son of cheap whorr

Didn’t you know that 95% of the Lampdousa victims were your brothers and sisters who were heading to Europe as usual to claim asylum as Eritrean as they have done thousands of times. The lie was exposed after their identity was exposed by the anti-human trafficking group of EEC.

Agamew
We never had any bad malicious as long as they don’t mess with is; if they do, what we did to you agames, we will do to any of our enemies. Respect is earned. We fear no one, not Ethiopia, not Europeas nore your big daddy, the US. That’s the way we conduct our business.
