Sorry to post off topic here, but It is mind boggling to still see people say Abiy withdraw from Mekele without telling Isiais after listening to the POW saying that there were 15,000 POWs from the Alula Aba Nega campaign. The campaign drove ENDF and shaebia out of central Tigray including Mekelle.

The interviewee was taken prisoner of war 34 kilometer from Mekelle. Does Sam understand the ratios of POW to killed in action or he ratios of POW to casualties in military science? If 15k POWs were taken prisoners in a campaign, how many were killed around Mekelle? What is the casuality numbers in ENDF? Could Abiy stay in Mekelle after sustaining humongous numbers as dead, causalities and POWs? Absolutely No!
