Does Anyone Know
Does anyone know whether Abiy and Isaias met with each other in Saudi Arabia?
Re: Does Anyone Know
Eritreans abhor back-stabbers and we have never seen a more despicable back-stabber than Abiy. I doubt any Eritrean will ever forgive Abiy even if he were to apologize publicly for his idiotic comments. Just remember that this time last year, Eritrean forces were totally supporting Abiy to defeat the Agames. It was Eritrean forces who defeated Agames in Shire, Aksum, Adwa and chased the likes of Migbey to Mekelle. It was Eritrean military strategist who neutralized the Agame strategy of qoroTa. How they did it will haunt Agames for a long time! Yet, here we are a year later with Abiy virtually declaring war on Eritrea. No, Esu will never talk to Abiy again. As I said, even if he were to apologize publicly.

Not only supporting him, but also Eritrea rescued his own ar.se when the Tigrayans were threatening to march to Addis to smoke his dirty ar'se out of Menelik Palace.supporting Abiy to defeat the Agames.
Somalis know Ethiopia better than you guys from Eritrea. We have been visualising and seeing it from a distance and capturing its bigger picture; thus, an Ethiopian cannot play us a game. In addition, we do not differentiate between Ethiopians. For us, Ethiopians are Ethiopians regardless of their ethnic background. We never bring an Ethiopian ethnic close to us and push back another Ethiopian ethnic.
While due to the fact that you've been too close to Ethiopia and Ethiopians and even used to be part of Ethiopia to the extent that most of you would find it hard to tell what really differentiate them from Ethiopians, and the fact that you differentiate between Ethiopian ethnics, you're failing to visualise the bigger picture of Ethiopia and its people; hence, Ethiopia and its people can pull a surprise on you at anytime.

Would Isayas have saved Abiy if he had known this betrayal was coming?
Re: Does Anyone Know
Edina Agamina, killing the Agame dream was more important than saving Abiy! Even if we knew that he was going to betray us, we would have joined him in destroying the Agame basssstards. Get that into your little brain. For us, Abiy is a nuisance. He may be a despicable back-stabber but he is not a smart one. That is why he is now where he is.

Re: Does Anyone Know
Edina Agamina,
What Isaias expected only Isaias knows. But as a seasoned politician, he would have taken all eventualities into consideration. I am sure Esu had taken the measure of Abiy and found him to be a spineless entity who could be twisted by the Americans. I would be surprised if Esu did not take into consideration Abiy' back-stabbing tendencies. After all, he had done it before when he withdrew from Tigray without informing Eritrea about it. One of Esu's remarkable abilities is his ability to foresee developments of future events. There are so many such instances that some call them ትንቢተ ኢሳያስ. In 1994, for example, when he initiated the Sawa program, the then Defense Minister, Mesfin Hagos, opposed the idea arguing that there were no threats to Eritrea thenceforth. Esu's position that you never entrust your security to hopes about how others will behave turned out to be the correct position.

Re: Does Anyone Know
Let me put it this way: Agames nature is known even to our forefathers, aptly naming a road in Eritrea in your name. Yet, their children were willing to help your backward behind claim Ethiopia's throne, carrying you all the way to Addis. We saw beyond your pettiness, greed and inferiority-complex laden attitude. We hoped against hope you would recognize your SELF-INTEREST........
Yes. You failed us, but more than anything you failed your people- look where you're at now! That is the price of backstabbing!
As far as Eritrea is concerned, your Adwa mafia had fulfilled our immediate goal, so did Abiy!
But you're too stupid to see that!
Said enough! Chew on that!
qindibu,As far as Eritrea is concerned, your Adwa mafia had fulfilled our immediate goal, so did Abiy!
Correct me if I’m wrong but you are saying Isayas used Weyane to cement independence and used Abiy to punish Weyene.
What does FANO, current HGDEF ally, take from this? In other words, what immediate goal is Isayas intending to achieve by using FANO?
Re: Does Anyone Know
Kubur President Isaias Afewerki did not visit the Saudi Zoo, so he didn't get to see Abiy.

BINGO!!
Re:
edina, you are a typical Agame who always twists words and tries to give them the worst interpetation.
The Eritrean struggle for independence was clear, it was about Eritrean independence. Shaebya made it clear to any Ethiopian group that they would have to recognize that Eritrea was a colony of Ethiopia before any agreement for cooperation could be sugned. Groups like EPRP refused to do so. TPLF agreed. That was how the alliance was forged. But it turned out that the Agames viewed the agreement as tactical that they would renege once they got into Arat Kilo. It appears now that Abiy's acceptance of Eritrean sovereignty in 2018 was also tactical. He should have learned from Agames that back-stabbers don't have a long shelf life. Eritrea's position in both cases was strategic. It is not our fault that Agames and Abiy turned out to be back-stabbers. They are the losers. We got what we wanted. But they did not because what they wanted was not what was agreed upon. Got it Agamina!
