Ethiopia is a big nation, with over 120 population size, it could reach over 150 Million in a time of less than 30 years, all these massive size needs to eat, to wear, to have a shelter and fulfill all the rest of human necessities. All those necessities get fulfilled from accessing the market, competitively.
Currently Ethiopia is being denied an access to the (external) market, can't produce and bring it to the market, can't procure from the market to satisfy the input required in inland.
The amount of expenses to get such services from an external service provider is causing a massive impediment on the country's development endeavors and becoming unbearable. Ethiopia's development is at stake, it costs massively the dire resources of the nation.
Ethiopia was stripped off the strip of land in its coast of over 1000 KM in what seems like a well designed scheme, to deny the nation the ability to access the market in the name of liberating a fringe size of the total population. Injustice was done, it has to be undone, for ensuring sustainable peace and development in the region.
You can't keep that amount of huge population size in an enclave of man made geographic prison, without causing major repercussions in the long run or short term.
If you can't keep a population of over 2 Million in the Gaza Stripe and pacify them, there is no way that you can keep the size of over 120 Million behind the Red-sea enclave, taken from it under a dubious circumstances.
The damage and wrongdoings of the past needs to be rectified in due time.

This guy was also an ardent advocate of the right of Ethiopia to access the red-sea and the port it built with its own hard earned money over it. He invited one of the key advocates of the Ethiopian ownership of the Port of Asseb in this interview.
Now, suddenly we were also told by the same mouth the demand of an access to the sea is an expansion of the Oromuma Empire.

Before 5 years it was about defending the right to access sea port and thereby about defending the national interest and now it is
And drawing a parallel between Isayas, who has never been elected to office, for over 30 years now, and Abiy Ahmed, who has been duly elected to the office by the people and calling them in the same token dictators. Waite a moment!

DefendTheTruth,
You are sounding more and more like Agames! Abiy grew up under the guardianship of TPLF. So it is natural that he should be as stinking back-stabber as his patrons, But what is your excuse? Unless, you were one of the TPLF Oromo stooges for 27 years, serving them diligently.

Abiy will learn the hard way never to mess with Eritreans.

First make sure your Orommuma government allow the people of Ethiopia and specially Amhara to move in and out of Addis Ababa aka "FinFine". You can't claim territory of a a sovereignty nation land or sea when the very same Oromuma is preventing Ethiopians to move freely in their country.DefendTheTruth wrote: ↑06 Nov 2023, 13:57Ethiopia is a big nation, with over 120 population size, it could reach over 150 Million in a time of less than 30 years, all these massive size needs to eat, to wear, to have a shelter and fulfill all the rest of human necessities. - You also need to speak up against the killing of innocent Ethiopians of non-Oromo everywhere in Oromia. You don't even have the courage to speak up against your Orommuma government for heinous crimes they have been committing. By the way, Wollega and Benshangul belongs to the people of Amhara
Lastly, let me use the same logic you are using. As the number of the people of Egypt increasing, Abbay dam should be demolished by any means because not only it is a matter of life and death from them, they have every right to use it and in fact you have agreed for Egyptians to use it. So, It is fair for Eritrea or any one of the neighboring countries to allow their ground and sky to bomb Abbay Dam.. ha?!
Having said that...If you believe you have to try to invade our Red Sea, you can send your Oromo boys and girls
