Yes I am talking about the great Sisay Agena, the proud Ethiopian...I personally think that it is too early and that the people of Ethiopia should not give up on this man. He is such a brilliant Ethiopian who has great mind and head on his shoulder... I understand PP are trying to bribe him with Medals and probably other stuffs... But I don't think he is that kind of person. In my opinion, he did what he did because he used to be Ethiopian soldier and he also loves his country. I also understand that PP party is trying to use him to accomplish their evil agenda by misleading people as Birhanu Jula indicated in his speech and I don't believe the great Sisay Agena will fall into their trick against the people of Ethiopia.

I believe he is a man of principle and he will stand with his people instead serving short-lived parties like PP... but time will tell...

The main reason I am intrigued by this whole situation is that I still believe nobody in the PP government is comparable to brother Sisay Agena's IQ and integrity... He was known as a man of the people; a man of integrity; a man of principle. The man that I respect so much, brother Sisay Agena, has made probably one of the biggest mistakes in his life by doing what he did and I am sure he will regret it soon. If I were Sisay Agena, I would not take flight back to Addis Ababa to be played by PP propaganda/show-up... The sad and at the same time the funny part is that he was receiving instructions from the so called "Marshal Field" who is known to be not that bright.... It does not even sound right to my ears to call brother Sisay Agena as PP/Jula Cadre

Yes you are right and I agree with you.. There is no joke with the people of Ethiopia. If they find you to be a person without integrity, you are dead in their eyes. You can look at many artists and activists who danced and dined with TPLF during its hey days like Kihdetu Ayalew.. Today, their stock value is so low and they are nowhere to be seen..


Having said that I am just curious to hear the words that come out of Brother Sisay's mouth one he comes back to the US after this biggest blander ..

Sisay, Birhanu Nega...etc are behertegna groups who disguised themselves as Ethiopianists and subversively work against Amhara cameoflaging themselves as Ethiopians. That is now exposed. No going back and no blank check
from Amharas (the pillars of the country) They aligned themselves with Oromuma because their politics is anti Amhara. Period.

This is almost similar to Issayas Afeworki's uncle Mr. Solomon, who was operating as Ethiopian, holding the governorship of Wollo, starving them to death & hiding their plight and working with the British MI5 and BBC's Jonathan Dimbilby to make a documentary about the Wollo starvation, and then blaming the emperor and overthrowing him through public uprising.

Of course Mr. Solomon, the uncle of Issayas deliberately hide the starvation for this purpose and he was considered "true Ethiopian" and he succeeded on the chaos he wishes for our country. Ethiopianists ideology was the Achilles hill for Amhara and it is no more my Skunnis qumburse friend

The democratically elected gold medal winner PM traveled all the way to Eritrea donated and made peace agreement with the Eritrean government for the first time in Ethiopian history. Journalistic description events doesn't require a person to examine his core moral principles and grit.Folks like Sisay don't have the time and intellectual patience to deeply look into the philosophy of their lives, what makes them stick at the moment historical challenges to their humanity. They are journalists - their entire life is consumed by the day to day dramas of the political society. In short, Sisay lived his whole life without ever examining the 'why' question of life. In a sense, Sisay mirrors Abiy. Sadly, Berhanu has read a lot of big history (large historical Trends) but in my view has very little reading of the psychological and philosophical drivers of human nature and people's characters. That is why all three ended up making such tragic errors of judgment. As we say in psychotherapy, regret has no function, it has no purpose. It is a waste of emotion.

I have always respected the people of Oromo and deservedly so. In fact, you might be correct everything you have stated. But let me ask you this simple and straight forward question as a brother from Oromo since this might help me to clarify the dilemma many people have right now about the stand of the people of Oromo. Obviously, it is hard to generalize based on one person's stand...

Abby said Abbay River and Red Sea are a matter of survival and Ethiopia should own an access to the Red Sea by any means. Do you support his idea to disregard the sovereignty of the neighboring countries ?
