The question with regard to the right to access a port on the read sea coast was raised explicitly by calling for the use of peaceful means.
Now suddenly we hear in internet videos Eritrea to have deployed its troops to the boarder with Ethiopia and Ethiopia reciprocating by doing the same.
Starting a war could be easy, stopping it is much difficult and war is a costly business.
People should think twice before being overwhelmed in the trap of war.

We stretch our peaceful hands, if we get back a hostile one in response, then let it be. We either live free or live never!

There's no, RIGHT to access. You negotiate for access.
Besides, your PM was talking of ownership of a port. And both Somalia & Djibouti understood it exactly like Eritrea, as well.
If it's all "innocent" as you claim then there's nothing to worry about, isn't it?

If you understand Amharic, the language the PM of Ethiopia in addressing the issue of access to the port, and also listened to his address, then he explicitly called for a negotiation for an access to the port (of our own). So, what did you add here?Zmeselo wrote: ↑20 Oct 2023, 15:01There's no, RIGHT to access. You negotiate for access.

Well, should I call you defend the lies or defend the truth? The thing is, we had a great expectation from PM Abi after US and its allies invested in everything they can to oust him from power both militarily and diplomatically. I mean they even gathered a couple of taxi drivers and tried to present them as the representatives of the majority of Ethiopians.DefendTheTruth wrote: ↑20 Oct 2023, 16:32[If you understand Amharic, the language the PM of Ethiopia in addressing the issue of access to the port, and also listened to his address, then he explicitly called for a negotiation for an access to the port (of our own). After all that had passed and now to end up at the receiving end of the same bloodsuckers is for me extremely bewildering. Because history tells us that all those who ended at that receiving end, their traces are full of blood and destruction. To expect something else is unimaginable.
Access to the sea...the laughable thing about all this is, Ethiopia has already got free access not only in Assab but also in Massawa. Why it has not been using them because uncle Tom would not allow them to do that. That is the real truth.
