Historic right of Ethiopia to claim it
- Could be developed to multi- billion resorts
- The potash deposit 100% with Ethiopia
- Eritrea will be dependent on Ethiopia for ever( even it may not survive).
- Threat of Eritrea becoming proxy for Egypt will be reduced to zero
- Enough sea shore to explore for the right location to build a port that handles heavy ships

It is very painful to know that the country that become
the piercing freedom light to the dark colonized world is still under the yoke of colonialists designed geographical boundary /prison that prevented it from accessing the sea , while it is just 60 kilo meter far from it and it is the most populated nation on the Earth that is land locked. It is also painful to know this happened while it has a legal right to have access to the Red Sea based on African Union charter and United Nation resolution. Furthermore when Isaias invaded Tigray/ Ethiopia in November 2020 with the objective of taking Ethiopian land by force.all agreements with Eriteria in the past are null and void and that has created a unique opportunity for Ethiopia to secure it's rightful access to the Red Sea. Time for every Ethiopian to rally behind the # Bring Back Our Access to Red Sea! campaign and pressurize the Ethiopian government to
stop any discussion on border demarcation with Isaias, announce any previous agreements are null and void, reverse the aggression committed by Eritrea and occupy the land from Assab to the historic Axumite port Adulies. The boundary between Ethiopia and Eritrea to be negotiated with Post-Isaias government of Eriteria.

Horn of Africa’s stability at stake as Ethiopia bids to regain access to Red Sea
A call by Ethiopia’s prime minister for his country to regain access to the Red Sea after a 30-year hiatus has sparked fears that the issue could destabilize the Horn of Africa.
Ethiopia lost direct access to the sea in 1993 when Eritrea seceded from it after a war that lasted three decades. Eritrea’s port at Massawa (pictured) is the largest natural deepwater port on the Red Sea and handles goods coming from neighbors including Saudi Arabia and Yemen. Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed last week called for a discussion about reopening access, arguing that his request was based on “historical, geographical, ethnic and economic grounds.” He said the lack of access was “a potential source of future conflict.”
Eritrea called the surprise request “excessive,” adding that it had “perplexed all concerned observers.” Somalia, which also rejected Abiy’s request, said the issue is “not open for discussion.” There is now fear that such an aggressive demand from Ethiopia might escalate into a regional war.

Ax,
TPLF, the party you support sacrificed so many young Tigrians to give away Assab for Eris. And has done nothing but reaffirmed that Assab belongs to Eris when in power for 27 years.
Out of power and in the cold all of a sudden you try to use Assab as a card.
Everybody knows that you are dishonest.
Right now, the most important issue for Ethiopians is bringing PP&TPLF to justice.
Assab will have its own day and the Afar brothers will unite without spending a single bullet. The future generations will show you how it is done.

Right!
My stand on Ethiopian access to the Sea has been always the same, TPLF should have negotiated hard to keep Assab part of Ethiopia. Axumezana is not a blind supporter of TPLF or any body except our Lord Jesus Christ! Of course when Abiy & Isaias allied to destroy my people I felt it was important to raise this issue ( which I believe in) to destroy that alliance
