Issaias Afeworki is scared to go to China

Post by Mesob » 17 Oct 2023, 15:43

Most African leaders are heading for a major Chinese conference on the global economy and the road and belt. For a reason that is not yet known, Issaias Afeworki is staying home.
Is Issaias scared of Ethiopia launching an invasion on Assab? Is Issaias humiliated to face the world and Abiy Ahmed in China, after Eritrea sacrificed 110 thousand of its tiny and dwindling population to save Abiy Ahmed Ali? In return, the modern Ahmed Gragn, dared to challenge Eritrea, saying, this way or that way, Ethiopia will regain its status on the Red sea.
Some people say, Eritrea gambled on Tigray war but lost it politically, because little has changed on its relations with Ethiopia, as Abiy Ahmed increases his rhetoric against Issaias. It is true, Abiy Ahmed sees Eritrea as irrelevant obstacle on its march to reassert its power on the Red Sea.
Is there a way the two leaders can come to terms again, or is this over, as it looks like -- two angry scorpions in a jar?

Listen to Abebe Gelaw after 50 minutes below. Issaias had promised Abiy Ahmed that the future of Eritrea is with Ethiopia, and Ethiopia is the only nation with a potential to lead the Horn of Africa. For this to do, Ethiopia needs to destroy Weyane Tigray first, then incorporate the Red Sea and Eritrea under it.
Issaias still believes that with its dwindling population, dormant economy, surrounded by the good for nothing Arabs, limited resources ... the future of Eritrea and the ports is with Ethiopia to control and to stabilize the Horn of Africa.
This way or that way, the old and dying Issaias Afeworki has to deliver his promises to Ethiopia, or become a history, like Crimea, Taiwan or Tibet.
At this time, the Arabs are on their deathbed and fighting each other, who else can save Issaias? Maybe America, the Europeans or is it China?

Agame/adgi,

Mesob, you sound more like your brother Axumezanza. Abigail is just trying to prolong the misery of Ethiopians. I wonder if Isayas gave him a green signal to do so. Regardless, the Eritrean people are ready for Abigail if you know what l mean.

Aye edu ደንቆሮ ዓጋመ

Essu goes whenever where-ever he wants, all you agames know. There is nothing in this planet, not even a threat on his life by CIA in the past prevents him from traveling outside his country in bad times.

Agame edu,
While you “worry” about Essu’s travel plan, your relatives are dying of hunger in thousands because, the WFP and USAID trucks are running late. If I were an agame, I would be worried if my Chigar Kilil will ever survive in the next few years, due to famine, upcoming civil war among the looters and so forth.

The question is that for what strategic benefit to Eritrea did Issaias sacrifice tens of thousands of Eritreans? Nothing has changed in Addis Ababa?
