4 Reasons Why Ethiopians Reject Abiy's Reckless Asab Agenda!

Post by ethioscience » 14 Oct 2023, 05:46

Ethiopians are unlikely to be swayed by Abiy's reckless comments about Asab because they are well-informed and discerning individuals who value responsible and diplomatic communication when it comes to sensitive geopolitical matters. Abiy's statements may be seen as provocative or ill-considered, which could potentially harm Ethiopia's diplomatic relationships and regional stability. Ethiopians may prefer a more measured and strategic approach to such issues.

Here are a few reasons:

Firstly, Eritrea is a nation that values its sovereignty, and any reckless comments about Asab could jeopardize the relationship between the two countries.

Secondly, the majority of Ethiopians do not endorse Abiy's expansionist and unprincipled political approach.

Thirdly, Eritrea is regarded as a brother nation that provided significant support to Ethiopia during the war. Given this history, it is highly unlikely that sensible Ethiopians, especially among the Amhara and Afar communities, will endorse Abiy in his perceived delusions.

Lastly and importantly, many Ethiopians believe that Abiy has brought this agenda to divert attention from his defeat by the Fanos and to avoid accountability for the alleged atrocities and genocide against the Amhara and Tigray people.

Abiy is widely seen as an irresponsible, untrustworthy, and narcissistic leader whose decisions have resulted in significant loss of life and ongoing conflicts in Ethiopia over the past five years. As a result, many believe that Ethiopia cannot and will not continue to be led by such a delusional leader, and they advocate for his removal by any means necessary. They express gratitude to groups like FANO for their efforts in pursuing this goal.

Dont bank on the Amhara to fast i always find it astanoshing the level of trust Eritreans put on Amhara, the biggest problems Eritrea faced for the most part were caused by Amhara not by gallas or Agames. it was the agames that launched the border war back in 1998 and the Amhara fully behind the agame in the war against eritrea. if Galla makes some concessions to Amhara they will rally behind the galla against the eritreans

by the way i dont support the fake pm of ethiopia called abiye ahmed ali he is fake and is over hyped

________

It appears that @AbiyAhmedAli' s response to being denied a seat at the "Red Sea Forum" involves invoking historical claims over neighboring Eritrea 🇪🇷 — even quoting the renowned 19th-century Ethiopian General Ras Alula Aba Nega, who stated, "Ethiopia's natural border is the Red Sea."

What should be clear to him is that the people of Ethiopia respect their neighbors' sovereignty and have no intentions of embarking on yet another fool's errand!

May the people of Eritrea and Ethiopia long live with enduring peace, fostering a brighter future for both nations.

The Prime Minister of Ethiopia tells parliament no one in the world can define water that he himself is water! Hearing this, the public can’t be blamed for thinking he just might be a lunatic!

Both TPLF and Abiy's leadership can’t function without conflict and disorder, and this is why they are seen promoting agendas like the one related to Red Sea access. Delusional Abiy is playing his final card to evade the looming defeat by FANO and the potential accountability for alleged injustices against the Amhara and Tigray people.

Peace loving Ethiopians and people of Amhara are thankful for FANO and anticipate that the era of delusional factions is drawing to a close, heralding a new era of justice, equality, and improved diplomatic relations in Ethiopia and the broader East African region.
