When most Ethiopians are against the annexation of ASSAB, why are so many PFDJ cadres in favor of it?
I am captivated by the fundamental motivations behind their unwavering dedication to pursuing a path of action that ultimately undermines their own interests.

When most Ethiopians are against the annexation of ASSAB, why are so many PFDJ cadres in favor of it? ~asked Almaze
almazeye,
That amounts to rocket science for you but for normal rational people it is quite logical and normal because they want peace, prosperity, cooperation, good wealth and good health for themselves, their children and grand children down the line. Don't tell this to your dim witted buddy, shalalqa Dawwee because he will keep confusing you even more by whispering to your half def ears saying that you know much more about the interests of the Eritreans than the Eritreans themselves.

Sun, Diplomatic, and commercial ties between Ethiopia and Djibouti are stable and mutually beneficial. In the case of Eritrea, there are indications that Abiy Ahmed has adopted a confrontational stance, expressing a potential tendency for military intervention by issuing military threats. Such language must be stopped.

Contrary to your make believe sham statement you and your buddies wish so much and hope that Ethiopia and Eritrea enter in to war so that you may be able to scavenge what is leftover. Be honest and correct me if I am wrong.almaze wrote: ↑12 Oct 2023, 20:13Sun, Diplomatic, and commercial ties between Ethiopia and Djibouti are stable and mutually beneficial. Almaze, "annexation?" Is it the current TPLF's talking point. If Ethiopia is allowed to use the Assab port, it is because the Ethiopian and Eritrean governments and people decided it is the right thing to do. Why the Eritreans in this forum support the "annexation?" I have an answer for you. The Eritreans who are active on ER are genuinely wish the best to Ethiopia. I do not say the same you know ...

Sun, I take it you're a dedicated PFDJ cadre who won't rest until Greater Ethiopia rises from the ashes of Eritrea. Sorry to dampen your enthusiasm, but that's just not going to happen.

It looks like pro Oromo cadres are embracing Abiy’s idea. War is imminent for sure.what I am concerned about is who is deciding what in the Eritrean government in case of war.
