I would tell to PP that the US is threatening with sanction unless the conflict is resolved peacefully, and I would use this opportunity to get out of a quagmire that Abiy will never win. This is maybe his last opportunity to get out of the Amhara region's quagmire with some face-saving. The next opportunity would most likely come with even more humiliation, or may will never come.

The only thing ENDF is successful so far in Amhara region is massacring civilians and destroying and looting properties while paying a heavy price militarily. When it comes to reducing the capability of Fano, it has failed miserably. In fact, it has helped Fano to acquire more weapons and get more fighters. This is a lost cause and the sooner ENDF gets out the better for all.

I guess you are one of those true believers who was lead to green pastures by Abiy who still refuses to see the Cliff, and still hopes the "good " sheepherd somehow going to change course and steer the county from disaster. This view is dangerous because it trifles the danger at hand, and disarm those who need to make last ditch effort to protect themselves from the mayhem that is Abiy's making.

Fano will have its own demands that abiy will have to comply with, abiy cant deliver agames Welkiet and Raya meaning agames will try to sabotage him. While I wholeheartedly agree that brute force can never solve thr questions of the masses, I like testing how elaborate a persons thoughts on a particular topic are. It really helps put things into perspective.
What are .. or what would be the conditions for these negotiations? What are the demands of fano or APF?
If it includes PM Abiy resigning, who would take his place, or his parties place, both at the federal and state level?
