Authorities shut down HGDEF festival citing public safety concerns | አይትከውንን'ያ

Post by eden » 19 Aug 2023, 20:10

EDMONTON - Police in Edmonton say after authorities withdrew a permit for an Eritrean event due to safety concerns, an altercation broke out at another site and multiple people were injured.

Police say they attended a demonstration in the city’s west end on Saturday in relation to the Eritrean festival that was scheduled to take place in a field in that area.

They say officers worked closely with organizers of both groups ahead of time to “support citizens in their right to peaceful assembly” and “ensure public safety for both the festival and demonstration attendees.”

Demonstrators opposed to the event claimed it supports the government of Eritrea, which human rights groups have called one of the most oppressive regimes in the world.

Adgi N'hamedu are being encouraged by western authorities to disrupt Eritrean festivals in Europe and N.America. If these bunch of ignorants think they can bring about change in Eritrea by acting in such a way, then they will be disappinted. First of all a lot of them may be Agames and the ones who are Eritreans are confused souls. You cannot attack the very same people you claim to be helping to bring about democracy in the country.

It's fascist Canada we're talking about, after all.

Look what the stupid PM did to HIS OWN people, just for protesting vaccine mandates:

The evil Agame and a handful of ደቂ ኣርባዓ "Eritreans" have failed miserably to disrupt the Eritrean Festival in Edmonton.
