Maybe those smaller regions would not be economically viable on their own? So together, those regions would have more resources to fund their region?
Otherwise, not sure what the reasoning behind this is.
I support a gurage kilil and a silte kilil for sure.

ወግ ነው ሲዳሩ ማልቀስ ይባላል! የመጣ መንግስት ሁሉ የጦር ኃይል ሞኖፖሊ እንዳለው ለማሳየት የራሱን ካርታ ይሰራል ! ድሮ ድሮማ አንድ ንጉስ የራሱ ኢምፓየር በቆመ ቁጥር የዘመን ቆጠራ አንድ ብሎ ያስጀምር ነበር ። እሱ ከስልጣን ሲወገድ ያቆማቸው ሃውልቶች ጭምር ይፈርሱ ነበር ።

ንጉስ ሃይለ ስላሴ 14 ጠቅላይ ግዛት ነበራቸው ። መንድስቱ ተደርጉ 28 ክፍለ ሃገሮች ነበሩት ። መለስ የወያኔ ትግሬው 9 ክልሎች ነበሩት ። የበሸሻው ኦሮሙማ ዲክታተር ልሁን ባይ 12 ክልሎች ፈልፍሏል ። እመነኝ ነገ ፋኖ አቢይን ሲያስወግ፣ ይህ ደሞ አይቀሬ ነው ክልሎች ሁሉ ይፈርሳሉ !

Bullsh!t talk like always not knowing that governments are being elected to act and make changes that are practical and useful for the majority if not for all 100%. Governments are not elected to go and sit in the museums for being watched and worshiped.
