Fano is a true threat to OLF and TPLF. And it has proved its capability in such a short time. Now, it is getting the attention of International Media, especially for the corporate media it is also exposing their decades of purposeful indifference to the plight of Amhara people.

Fano has accomplished the first step in their long term goal of enforcing amhara intrests in the horn, the primary step being the eradication of ANDM from amhara lands. After 30 years of ruling the region unopposed, the speedy collapse of ANDM over a mere 6 days proved they were completely unable to build a homegrown constituency unlike OPDO or TPLF who do have somewhat of support in their region.
The second step in fano move should be to build a shadow government in the region, to replace the vacuum. Let the army control the urban areas but amhara region is 3/4 rural and inaccessible for the army. No point in confronting the army directly now while they still outnumber and out gun you. Once a shadow government is laid out, medium and lower ranked amhara officers from the army will start to defect with their weapons and knowhow, that's the end of PP's regime .

--- My question is what is Fano going to do with dozens of captives from the dismantled OLF-ENDF mechanized militray birgades and commands, especailly where OLF-ENDF is increasingly becoming restless in use of Drones at the same time massacering innocent children and civilians? How is Fano going to afford the logistics of feeding, safeguarding captives following interantional convention of treating captives, unless the UN or Red cross is involved; particularily, if these captives are again used by OLF-ENDF if released or even passed to a 3rd party, including UN itself, because it has no integrity?
