Re: Is there central government in Ethiopia anymore?

Post by euroland » 12 Aug 2023, 08:17

The Amahara Regional State representatives comprised members of the Regional Assembly, religious leaders, youth and women as well as businessmen
What exactly would a religious leaders, youth and women groups as well as businessmen’s visit could be interpreted? This visit isn’t political, rather a goodwill one which doesn’t need any of Eritrea’s counterparts state governers’ accommodation. These groups are going to Eritrea and making dangerous and provocative statements saying “one state of Ethiopia is invading another state”. My point is, when your hundlers are making those frequent trips to the most unimportant region of Ethiopia and making a statement saying “The Amara forces are still occupying Tigrean lands” then this is completely violation of Ethiopian sovereignty. Why would a foreign force care so much involving itself on two states’ land dispute within another country? It is like a Mexican PM would go in to California and stand on the podium and tell the media the Arizona government should evacuate California’s land. Do you think the Federal government would sit idol for the Mexican government’s disrespectful interference without major consequences to Mexico? Why are your hadlers get involved among states land disputes? Isn’t this beyond their “diplomatic” duty?

but why the whole Eritrea has to show up for this local discussion but only one tenth of Ethiopia? How can Eritrea president be counterpart of officials of a region within a country? I’m asking because you used the word counterpart

Wedi Mekele
To who is your message directed to? Do you know how to use the tool “reply” (quote) to whom ever your message is meant to be rather than respond to the general thread?
