My persistent concern has always been that the division between BEADEN and other factions could lead to a civil war, endangering the Amharas as they would face their formidable adversaries, the weyanes and radical Oromumas. I have consistently argued that Amharas should discreetly infiltrate BEADEN and work to weaken it from within, transforming it into an organization that supports their own cause.
Fortunately, it appears that BEADEN's fragile foundation was not resilient enough to withstand even the slightest pressure. To a large extent, one might say that Abiy's overtly anti-Amhara actions might have played a significant role in the unfolding events in Amhara. In this regard, I commend the Amhara community for their well-timed and measured response in handling the crisis. Their approach seems to ensure a successful resolution of the struggle.
