HONG KONG — Chinese President Xi Jinping https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/xi-j ... -rcna74300 met with veteran U.S. diplomat Henry Kissinger https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/he ... -rcna86575 in Beijing on Thursday, calling him an “old friend,” Chinese state media reported.

Xi said the visit by Kissinger, who has been to China https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/chin ... -rcna94812 more than 100 times and recently turned 100 years old, had special significance because of the two “hundreds.”

Kissinger, who was President Richard Nixon’s national security adviser at the time, made a secret trip to China to 1971 that laid the groundwork for a historic trip by Nixon the following year and the formalization of relations between the United States and China in 1979.
It not only changed the two countries, but also changed the world,
Xi said, according to state-run broadcaster CCTV.

Xi said the Chinese people value their country’s friendship with Kissinger and the U.S.
We will never forget our old friend and your historic contribution to promoting the development of Sino-U.S. relations and enhancing the friendship between the Chinese and American peoples,
he said.

Kissinger said it was a “great honor” to visit China again, noting that his meeting with Xi at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, where many important diplomatic events are held, was the same place where he met in 1971 with Zhou Enlai, the Chinese premier at the time.
The relationship between the two countries is related to world peace and the progress of human society,
Kissinger said, according to CCTV.

The U.S. and China, now the world’s two largest economies, have recently experienced some of their worst relations since diplomatic ties were established amid disputes over trade, human rights and the status of Taiwan, https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/taiw ... -rcna78458 a self-governing island that Beijing claims as its territory.

State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said this week that the Biden administration was aware of Kissinger’s visit to China but that he was acting
under his own volition, not acting on behalf of the United States government.
Kissinger’s visit to Beijing coincided with one by John Kerry, the U.S. climate envoy, https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/us-c ... -rcna94800 who met with senior Chinese officials but not Xi. Kerry, whose trip marked the first formal top-level climate diplomacy between the world’s two biggest carbon polluters since talks were suspended last year, ended his trip Wednesday without the two countries issuing a joint statement on climate cooperation.

Xi also did not meet with Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/jane ... -rcna92815 when she was in Beijing this month.

He did meet last month with Secretary of State Antony Blinken https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/blin ... -rcna89984 during Blinken’s long-anticipated visit to China, which was postponed from February due to the Chinese spy balloon https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/nation ... -rcna77155 incident.

Kissinger also met this week with China’s top diplomat, Wang Yi, https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/chin ... -rcna95180 and Defense Minister Li Shangfu, https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/henr ... -rcna95041 who is under U.S. sanctions and had rejected a request from the Pentagon https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/chin ... -rcna86732 for a meeting with Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin in May on the sidelines of a security forum in Singapore.
U.S. policy towards China requires Kissinger-style diplomatic wisdom and Nixon-style political courage,
Wang told Kissinger during their meeting on Wednesday, according to the official website of the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

Kagame and Other Stooges Do U.S. Bidding in Haiti

The U.S. is committed to invading Haiti but needs Black “leaders” to give them cover. They pressured Caribbean nations to be the face of intervention and called on Rwanda’s Paul Kagame to be the African diaspora front man.

It can be argued that Rwanda’s president Paul Kagame is the Black head of state most useful to the U.S. and its allies. There are many human tools in their box but Kagame is the most willing to act on behalf of the collective west. He can reliably be called upon to enthusiastically do the dirty work of the U.S. and Europe. When he arrived at the recent CARICOM summit https://caricom.org/address-by-presiden ... community/ it was clear that a terrible plot was being hatched.

When the United Kingdom wanted to stop the flow of asylum seekers they hatched a plot with Kagame, giving him $180 million https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/7/1 ... nal-law-un to take them to Rwanda against their will. UK courts have blocked the plan thus far but it is an example of how he always makes himself of service. The UK is not alone in paying him off. Denmark https://www.blackagendareport.com/uk-rw ... sh-channel has also been in talks with Kagame to take in refugees too.

In 2014 Rwanda concluded a secret agreement with Israel https://deeply.thenewhumanitarian.org/r ... ght-of-day to take in its African refugees. Some 4,000 were sent to Rwanda between 2014 and 2018 but most of them left that country when they were left destitute and without legal status. The only difference with the UK is that their sordid deal was made out in the open.

When Caribbean countries balked at being the face of the Haiti invasion the U.S. turned up the heat and turned to the Rwandan president. Who better to join the effort to put a Black face on the latest Haiti invasion plan? He is as the old saying goes, the Head Negro in Charge in the treachery department and a natural for this particular mission.

Kagame https://www.plenglish.com/news/2023/07/ ... -by-haiti/ and Kenya’s president William Ruto have already said they will send police forces to Haiti. It is common sense to ask why East African leaders would want to play a role in Haiti, a nation so far away from theirs. They have done so at the behest of the U.S., the U.N., and the Core Group nations of France and Canada. All of these parties choose Haiti’s leadership. The “prime ministerAriel Henry is unelected and unaccountable. He is in his position precisely because he does not represent the Haitian people, but instead the interests of nations that want to control Haiti.

There are stooges from the African continent, and stooge heads of state in the Caribbean such as Mia Motley in Barbados and Andrew Holness https://jamaica-gleaner.com/article/new ... onse-haiti in Jamaica. CARICOM joined in the call for a “humanitarian corridor,” https://caricom.org/statement-on-haiti- ... july-2023/ which is a fancy way of saying invasion of a Caribbean nation. The need for buy-in on intervention isn’t restricted to Africans or to Caribbean leaders. Black officials from the U.S., Vice President Kamala Harris https://www.blackagendareport.com/more- ... mperialism and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries https://caribbean.loopnews.com/content/ ... t-trinidad made their way to the recent CARICOM meeting where they all made the case for an intervention that would do further damage to Haiti.

They are all doing the work of the US empire, which is a condition of having the high level positions that they hold. A Black face can be useful at the right moment, such as when Haiti is to be sacrificed to imperialist interests.

Kagame’s history of military intervention in the Democratic Republic of the Congo explains his role in Haiti too. Rwanda and Uganda have pillaged the DRC of its mineral wealth and with the approval of the U.S. Kagame even kidnapped Paul Rusesabagina https://www.blackagendareport.com/us-us ... ame-regime of Hotel Rwanda fame and released him after supposedly being pressured by the U.S. In fact, Kagame was given a free hand in eastern Congo in exchange for releasing Rusesabagina.

It bears repeating that Haiti is an example of Black liberation, which is why it has been punished for asserting its rights for the past 200 years. Its people have been subjected to invasions and puppet leadership and oligarchs who are in league with their oppressors.

No one should be fooled by corporate media who work hand in glove with the U.S. state to promote their narratives. They know that the gang narrative is useful in eliciting support for the latest act of aggression. They give the impression that when thousands of Haitians protest for higher wages or make other demands that they are just an unruly gang mob. They don’t reveal that Haiti has no elected leadership and that the “prime minister” Ariel Henry was chosen by the Core Group or that the United Nations plays a large role in Haiti’s subjugation.

Likewise, know that the presence of a Rwandan president at a Caribbean summit is proof that an African face is needed to make the case for wrong doing. The upcoming intervention will be called a “humanitarian corridor” but it will be business as usual in the ongoing project to subjugate Haiti.
