What a world are we in? It is not a problem, if Amhara decided to plant less (proportionally), it becomes a source of a major problem when the same body turns around and demand 80% of the dividends, in all aspects.
Amhara 142,800,000
Oromia 263,620,000

Re: Amhara plants half of that of Oromo, but want to have 80% of the dividends
Look at the last year's statistics as well, the last column is the total (Amhara planted 1/10 of that of Oromo).

It could be even more.
Didn't they claim even Wollega, the whole of Showa, parts Hararghe, parts of Tigray and many more are their territories? Here forgetting about Addis for a moment.
I don't think there is anything where they didn't have raised a claim to over 80% of the total.
When it comes to the contribution to the same total, then they lag behind everybody else.
This can't work!

Re: Amhara plants half of that of Oromo, but want to have 80% of the dividends
You are just a cadre trying to paint rosy pictures without scanning the overall environment in the country. For the last 3 years, the Amhara region was under invasion and war. The region was invaded by OLF-ENDF and TPLF. The people were completely under siege busy fighting the invaders, and most left their place of residence for a long time. It was not because the Amhara people brought the war but Berhanu Jula and Abiy pulled TPLF into Amhara lands. Almost three rainy seasons in the Amhara region were missed, because of the deliberate work of PP-OLF. The Amhara people faced and were warding off their existential threat while the Federal Resource was looted and abused by PP-OLF to deceive Oromo. Looting is not prosperity, it is crime. The so-called Oromia stunt is like putting lipstick on a pig.

You must have gotten the statistics from your Buffon body shimeles. Are you trying to imply that Amharas are lazy, but they are pron to take credit that dose not belong to them? I could have said a lot here, but I let it slide. This " what is your is mine" politics we all know is about Addis Ababa every salivating oromo firster want to swallow but don't know how. The Ethiopian people built that city from a dust they invested their treasure and sweat to build 65% of the economy, now by concocting a made up story you going to snatch and make it yours. A well coocked spiced up fish smells nice and pleasing to eye, unwisely if you cream it in you know what is going to happen. Your buffon friend thinks by up rooting tax paying permit holder Ethiopians in mass is a panacea for turning Addis Ababa irrelevant, we will live to see how that going to work out. The other truth you have to rember is that, it is not how many trees you planted, but how many you take care of to let it grow to its full potential and manage it.DefendTheTruth wrote: ↑17 Jul 2023, 04:11It could be even more.
