Are you in support of those expressions? Or do you think this is an expression worthy of a journalist of his caliber? If the expression is a disgusting one it is disgusting --whether it is said by Habtamu or anyone else. He needs to respect the people who are listening to him. That is the end of it.

You are talking about words. You are ahead of time I think. We are not in the position to pick on him on some words he is using. We instead appreciate him for his fight. Speaking against him at this time does not help the struggle at all irrespective of the bads.

We all share the responsibility of contributing to an ethical framework that sustains us in both good and bad times. Moreover, in order to create a better world than the one we currently inhabit, we must adhere to higher ethical standards. Certain individuals, based on their positions, carry a greater responsibility in this regard. While I appreciate Habtamu's current and past contributions, I believe it is important to recognize that these do not grant him a license to disregard societal norms. It is crucial to point out his shortcomings, as doing so will help him become a more proficient and determined advocate for his cause, as well as ours.

Brother, there is never a Wrong Time to Do A Right Thing! while I appreciate Habtamus's contribution to the cause of Ethiopia, but the cause of Ethiopia is much larger than the sum of single contributors. Let us nudge him to correct his ways and move together to the larger and bigger goals. Correction is an enhancer, not a hindrance.

right is right and wrong is wrong. there’s no bad timing to say the right thing. In a struggle, you have to maintain highest morals even when doing so is risky and costly.

You guys should agree to tell him, at least in private, to clean up his language. otherwise, he’s hurting the cause regardless of his intentions.
