Agames are a funny people. What strikes me most is their habit of trying to copy what Eritreans do. They steal our songs, our art and even our slogans. It is, for example, a well-established Eritrean practice to start any meeting with a one-minute silence to remember our martyrs. Agames do that but I wouldn't consider that odd. What is odd is that at the end of the minute, Eritreans raise their left hand and loudly chant "Awet nHafash." Agames do exactly the same thing.

As "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery", I don't mind Agames copying our practices. But I wish they also copied our values of despising thieves, liars and back-stabbers. I wish they stopped lying to themselves and believing their own lies.

When will all these wild animal like savage recriminations, counter recriminations, hateful propaganda, war, conflict with death and killing eulogizations, etc. evil endless behaviors end so that we all become normal humans who respect and love other humans and in return get respected and loved for our own good and the good of the world? Endless barbarism specially in the region where the first emergence of the human species have taken place amounts to gigantic tragedies.
