Mengistu Hailemariam, who came from the Konso tribe of Southern Ethiopia (as some scholars noted) is probably the longest living (oldest) leader of Ethiopia. He outlived most of his peers. Does being short and sturdy have any relation to longevity? Sometime ago, I read tall people have shorter pe life expectancy than shorter ones as they get aged their heart gets weak to pump enough blood to their length body parts. This might hold some truth as we hear people in China, Korea, Japan, etc. in Asia enjoy longer life than the average humanity on the planet.
