Good wishes, even from a snake, should not be spurned. In this world, only those who respect themselves are respected! And the US is showing respect for Eritreans. They may hate it, but they have to admit that Eritrea deserves respect!

You're basically right, but if you compare with good wishes from other countries & Heads of State it usually goes: "I congratulate the people AND gov't.."

This is, for me, a lame attempt at divide & conquer.

I didn't notice that. I wonder what they think when they see scenes like this of Eritrean people, including kids growing up in the USA, solidly behind their Esu and the government?

‼️💥🍿😎 It’s official: Prigozhin is now Excommunicado
Elena Gold

Editors-in-chief of the Russian federal media on Wednesday reportedly received letters making mentioning Prigozhin a crime.

Mentioning Wagner and Prigozhin is now qualified as “discrediting the Russian army” (up to 15 years in jail) under articles of the Criminal Code of Russia 207.3 and 280.3.

The letter prohibits such mentions from 25 May 2023.

Earlier, a reporter from a pro-Kremlin channel who did an explosive interview with Prigozhin was fired, less than 24 hours after its publication. In that interview, Prigozhin blasted Russia’s minister of defence Shoigu and the minister of foreign affairs Lavrov, and said that no goals proclaimed at the start of “the special operation” were achieved, stating that Russian forces “soiled themselves”.

Yesterday, leaflets that ptomoted Prigozhin were found in Belgorod, the region that was attacked by anti-Putin forces made of Russian citizens, who took over several towns near border and held it for over 24 hours.

Mentioning Prigozhin in media was already banned in January 2023, but there was no threat of treating such mentions as a crime.

In late February, such mentions started appearing again, following reconciliation between Prigozhin and Shoigu, allegedly brokered by Putin himself.

On 21 May, just a few days ago, Putin himself congratulated Wagner for taking the town of Bahkmut, as reported by his press office.

Now the administration of the President of Russia gives instructions to ban Prigozhin from mentions in the mainstream media.

The plot thickens.
