The current constitution restructured Ethiopia based on Ethinic lines . Since more than 90 % Western Tigray and more than 80 % of Southern Tigray speak Tigrigna both were categorized as part of Tigray. On the Other side the minerals , salt and other resources reach Dalol area ( in land size bigger than Western & Southern Tigray combined ) was given to establish the Afar state.
Hence, the constitution had to be respected and both Western and Southern Tigray has to reintegrated to Tigray.
Those who claim Western and Southern Tigray are not part of Tigray are against the constitution !
