I am impressed. For the first time, after several decades, I have watched Ethiopian television for long with interest. Today, I am confident to say Ethiopian Airforce is what its name says that it is. Six years ago, I would not dare to say that. If the Ethiopian army as a whole is like the Ethiopian Airforce, national in its standing, not influenced by tribal politics, Ethiopia's future certainly is promising.

In my view the two precisions that we see in the video made at the end the difference. The Helicopter that supplied those on the front-line at the time of need and the plane that took out the invading plane might have played the crucial role in achieving that difference.

That kind of precion couldn't have been possible due to the singular operations of those involved in them, it must have ALSO taken years of preparations and the required ground work. With such a setup the issue of success is just a matter of logical consequence, on the top of the determination and readiness of those involved in the specific operations themselves to pay the required sacrifices.

There could have been many other preparations in this regard but one thing stands for me in this regard high, which is the issue of continuity. Continuity implies instead of erase and rewrite better build on the one already there, which is the idea behind the idea of Medemer, as I understand it. Medemer is also about inclusivity, in addition to continuity, inclusivity implies demolishing walls and building bridges.

Just to mention two things that may make up Medemer, as I understand it. If the two ideas are indeed part of Medemer, then achieving continuity and inclusivity is not an easy task, it takes many efforts and a lot of wisdom to stir the whole process in this direction.

Ethiopia will be in a better place, that is the goal of the grand project that was started perhaps well before the start of the current change but officially declared as official government strategy by those currently in power in the country.

This is a big mission and that big mission may also going to cost us a high price. We have to be prepared to pay the higher price for the sake of achieving the grand goal.
