Brother Horus.

Ermais legesse often mentions that he is a "half-cast" father being Oromo and mother being Amhara. His surname that says Legesse WaqJira suggests that his grand parent WaqJira is afan Oromo which means (God is Present. Waq = God and Jirra = Present).

In one of the latest interview Ermias made with an agame women Ermias discribed that his father's family sing in Afan-Oromo but dance in Guragigna. I may have seen videos in YouTube on these people who sing in afan-oromo but dance guragigna.

Therefore, i suspect Ermias family from his father side are Gebaro Gurages who were forced to be Oromos. Any scholarly thought on this subject?

We Ethiopians were/are? lucky of our history. I mean from North, South, East to West. No country has great leaders as we did but it ended with Ase H/Selassie. I do not mean country leaders, we have full of that since eons of time, no Ethiopian is writing about them and the generation is getting more and more colonized by hidden foreigners under ground. But we had leaders in every institutions: defense, history, faith, education, entertainment, art and literature, etc.. We should include economic and development leaders! I have now confirmed that Ermias Legesse is Gurage in his father side but a Gebaro much like Bekele Gerba who once was a Gafate and Negasso Gidada who was once Damote.

These history need to be out to the open for Ethiopia to find peace. millions are now in a fake and wrong Identity a German Monk coined for them as Orma or Oromo. The real oromos are Galla and their are very minority (2-3 million max). The remaining are subjugated and forcefully converted 28 lost tribes.
