አንድ አለምንም ጥርጥር የማምነው ነገር አለ! ኤሪሚ እናቱ አማራ እንደ ሆነች ነግሮናል ፣አባቱ ኦሮሞ እንደ ሆኑ ነግሮናል ። በእኔ እምነት ኤርሚያስ በስብዕናውም በልቡም በመንፈሱም ጉራጌ ነው ።

Ermias thinks he can garner support for his new media adventure. I doubt it. Tewelde thought the same thing but look where his standing is now. Ethio360 is a brand name in Ethiopia for those who loves it and hates it.
At one point in his political life Ermias served the Weyannies well. Despite his positive efforts that stigma of being a Weyannie servant is still lingering unfairly. And his opponents are exploiting it relentlessly. Despite having an Oromo blood, Ermias hates tribalism and he is beyond that kind of sh&t.
By all accounts he is a brilliant political analyst. Habtamu & Ermias are the two most knowledgeable political analysts gifted in explaining things. Ermias edges him a little bit.
I think somebody has to help them reconcile their differences and work out for a reunion.

What do you mean by political idiot. An idiot is a person with low intelligence. So, a political idiot is a person with low political intelligence. Do you know what political intelligence is? what does a politically intelligent person look like? You are totally wrong.
Ermias is academically, intellectually very intelligent person. He is politically most informed person. That is the definition of political intelligence. He is simply more that a garden variety politically informed person. He is a political thinker, writer and a public intellectual and influencer! You may have your reasons to hate him, I may have my reason to disagree with him.
A political idiot is precisely the opposite of what Ermias is .

His brain is wired to micro politics. He can't see what's coming ahead. Well, he is good in expressing the micro, he will always need a guidance. In other words, he is just a school based.

Well, that is a different kind of criticism. Remember that his background is mathematics - linear, logical & sequential thinker. He has actually said that he hates history. So, his is not typical social science minded fuzzy , uncertain and gray area thinker. That is why he insists on definitions, clearly framing an issue, listing the points involved clearly.
This is a classic sequential concrete thinker type. They are your engineers, systems operators, algorithmic coders. And, remember, professional politics such as diplomacy is conducted by game theory. ስለዚህ ያንተ taste ቅኔና አግብዎ፣ አሽሙርና ዚቅ ሊሆን ይችላል! formal and structured presentation አይመችህም ማለት ነው ።
But in any set of communication, you will encounter 4 types of thinkers/communicators - abstract random, abstract sequential, concrete random and concrete sequential. አሁን አንተ የተኛው እንደ ሆንክ መገመት ትችላለህ! ስለዚህ እነዚህ የthinking styleአቸው የማይመችህ ሰዎች ላንተ እስታይል አይመቹም እንጂ ደደቦች ናቸው ማለት አይደለም !

You said it, background matters. You said he is not uncertain, I am saying he is. If he was not, he would not have made such a political mistake.
If you are a fact based or concrete random, it does not mean you are truly sure what you are doing and saying can actually hit the over all desired target because you could be too focused on the micro. And you could be incapable to view outside of it. You could be just a tool to someone who can see both ends or has all the qualities. So background and circumstances of cource can defy all the communication and social science theorys unless one is naturaly defective. That is one reason the organized system is designed to hide knowledge from the street smart
