Just look at the EOTC. People believed that Abiye brokered peace between the illegal Christian group and the Orthodox Church and went home satisfied. The problem is not resolved. Mark my word Abiye will kill the church officials and replace them with his guys.

It is hard to convince people not to be tricked by PP. This sad episode that we have just witnessed now is directly related to the Pretoria peace deal. It is about Egypt, Amahara land and the Weyannies. Abiye will not survive without delivering or executing the Americans to do list. He will not stay long even if he manages to deliver. He is not their guy.

This problem will stay. The Amharas better organize and dig in for a long conflict.

Believe me it is going to be chaotic. Ethiopia and the Amharas will not survive if we give up Welkayit, Raya and Humera. Also there will be war with Eritrea.

Amhara nationalists have to organize at the cell level all over Ethiopia and internationally and create a chain organization. Amharas are left in the dust when it comes to cell-level organization. Amharas hanging up on Ethiopian nationalism, which they should, but they don't have a cell-level organization that supports the Ethiopian nationalist idea they want to bring to fruition. This kind of organization would have an intelligent structure that would catch each every level anti-Amhara action at the elementary level and take action accordingly. It would be capable of responding in the right amount to strike its enemies without shaking the boat. So instead of screaming and moaning, every Amhara gets in the action of saving themselves as well as all other Ethiopians who have become victims of both weyanes and Oromumas. This cell-level organization has to be a very methodical and long-term movement that gradually with minimal damage to Ethopia's large society brings about a fundamental change in the society. There are lessons we have to learn from the previous movement's mistake that brought those organizations down. This new organization's goal is the survival of the Amhara community from complete destruction, so it has to be very disciplined. it can be done. with a just political agenda and the very survival of Amharas being at stake, it can be successful It will help the national and international organization to work effectively. That is doable. There is a loose organization in existence that can be used just for that purpuse.

Amharas hanging up on Ethiopian nationalism, which they should, but they don't have a cell-level organization that supports the Ethiopian nationalist idea they want to bring to fruition.

Not only hanging up on Ethiopian nationalism but they also expect the national institutions to protect them knowing fully well those institutions are in the hands of the enemy. Thousands of displaced citizens still beg the Abiye government to protect them.
I will not be surprised if the Amaharas join Oromuma to fight another war in the name of Ethiopia with neighbouring Eritrea, Tigray and Somalia. We have seen it on the Badme war.
These are symptoms of not being organized.
Abiye is desperate for money. People don’t know Amhara land have been sold to the Sudan.
If the Welkayit corridor and Raya is gone then Ethiopia will not survive.

I don't even think Its Abiy's idea but CIA and weyannes orchestration, and they who are pushing the envelope. Abiy is now very disparate it is not out of possibilities that he maybe gets dragged into it. But that would be his end. As for welkite and Raya if Amharas don't draw the line and fight for it, they are complitly going to make themselves irrelevant. They will fight it.

Don’t try to buy him an excuse. The CIA is not in charge of Ethiopia. Look we have a 5 years record of the PP regime and by all accounts they are the most incompetent leadership group. If they have a slightest of competence they would have avoided the Tigray war by a preemptive action as suggested. Instead not only they engaged in a costly war but they couldn’t finish it decisively.

I know it is hypothetical but as predicted 2 years ago, Ethiopia will soon have a major war with Eritrea. Thereafter, with emerging Somalia and then after with Tigray. Without the Amaharas all wars will be a challenge
What the Amharas role will be on the upcoming tragedy remains to be seen. The Amharas urgent need is getting organized and having a strong leadership.

---- There is no such a thing called Transitional Peace. This is a pure tactic to prey on Amhara. Obviously, the conflict between Amhara and PP-OLF/TPLF is fundamentally irreconcilable. That means either Amhara or OLF-PP/TPLF lives - both can not live at the same time. If Amhara has to live as people it is a MUST to oust OLF?TPLF. There should not be any moment of relaxation. PP-OLF/PP is using institutional resources, contracted foreign conflict /diplomacy entrepreneurs, bought domestic catalysts to dissuade Amhara people so that they would be easy targets in the next rounds of attack.

The backstabber Abiy would be the last person I will make an excuse for. The buck stops at his desk. I just want to point out the major players who are orchestrating the possible war with Eritrea. Abiy's incompetence both in the war and economy and Amhara's decision to fight off his idea to create Ethiopia in Oromo image have made him so vulnerable, he thinks if he jointly works with Weyanes and gets help from America he can save his behind. Though either way he is doomed. Amharas has been duped twice both by Meles and now Abiy so they are not going to side with Abiy. The two-year war with Weyane made it clear who the real enemy and the real friend of Ethiopia is. At the end of the coming war, as Abere pointed out, one of the two groups will remain to stand, weyanes and Olf or Amhras and Eritrea. Eritrea is safe . Amharas better don't waste their time.
