Tarik is neither a tigriyan nor an eritrean. He is a gondere amhara.

Definitely his father was an amhara sillassie torserawit soldier who was stationed in western Eritrea and his mother God knows from where she hails.

you and dark energy may be right. tarik could be an extremist amara who hopes that eritrea will do for them, what it did for tplf-bring it to power at the center/in finfinne/addis ababa. that's why he spends a lot of time, daily, especially under his tog wajale account, begging the eritrean army to fight ''gallas'' and the ethio/abiy led govt, on behalf of amara's.
perhaps, his mother was eritrean, OR, he was as you say, a derg soldier stationed in eritrea where he learned a little bit about the hamassien villages, towns, names, culture, etc.
for sure he has multiple accounts here and his agenda is clear: divide eritreans along regional lines/religious lines if possible, to weaken them, and the same for ethiopia: weaken it by trying to incite conflict between the two giants (oromo fi amara).
I still believe there's a chance tarik is fully agame or partially agame, simply because, he used to ask eritreans and tigrayans to unite, and fight the govt's of both places-tigray and eritrea, and this is something the agazian guys call for-replacing tplf and shabia with a pro agazian movement govt that would unite tigray with eritrea/kebessa/hamassien.
