Isaias plan A was to destroy & subdue Tigray and to eliminate TPLF from the face of the earth. However, as admitted by Isaias he failed to achieve his objectives. If plan A was successful , Isaias could have the following two options:
- Keep Abiy in power in Arat Killo as far as Abiy is under Isaias/ or his predecessor indirect control while keeping close relationship with Amhara forces who will be always close to his chest and under his control.
- If Abiy misbehaves, replace him with a unitary Amhara- leadership in Arat Killo, that will be under Eriteria control.
However , as the Elephant TPLF is in the room following the reconcilation of PP and TPLF, Isaias knows very well that it is a matter of time that PP and TPLF to be unified and come against him to effect the regime change that is planned by the USA and fiercely supported by TPLF . Hence, the only option available to Isaias is to remove Abiy from Arat Killo as soon as possible and put an Amhara unitary leader in Arat Killo that Isaias could control and help him to weaken and eliminate TPLF and abort the planned regime change by USA against him.To this effect, Isaias has planned for Abiy a trap to weaken him under quagmire by creating an Amhara-- Ethiopia armed forces war within Amhara which shall be culminated by the march of the Amhara forces to capture Arat Killo.
What Abiy should do to counter and defeat Isaias !
- Avoid prolonged conflict/ war in the Amhara state by resolving the current crises mainly through discussion and negotiation
- Dismantle Isaias affiliated political parties and personalities both in Addis Ababa and the Amhara state
- Close the road between Gondar and Eriteria via Humera
- Urgent Integration of all/ most of TDF forces into the Ethiopian army.
- Launch a major offensive against Isaias with the Ethiopian armed forces ( including the TDF army) and remove Isaias government from power( Isaias's continuation of occupying Ethiopians sovereign territories in Tigray and his interference in training and arming Amhara forces is sufficient reason to launch an offensive against him)
- Govern Eriteria under militery command for about two years until a new Ethiopia/ Tigray freindly government is established from the Eritrean diaspora
- last but not least Implement #Abiy Bring Back Our Acess to the Red Sea! Through legal and diplomatic means.
- Once the Arch enemy of Ethiopia is removed from power , Ethiopia could move fast toward unity and prosperity .
