It always amuses me to see Eris reply in earnest to sarcasm/ebdu shikor/ebducator, etc.
Instead of simply saying ንፋለጥ እሞ ንማለጥ, they try to reason it out, as if that is possible.
Sarcasm, which in reality is ebdu shikor, nominates Ebdu (now in the form Ebdu(cator), and Ebducator (which in reality is sarcasm) humbly and sarcastically accepts the honor.
Upon spotting an Ebdu shikor pretending to be sarcastic, our moms used to say ድኻ ፍሉጥ ርእሱ ሙሉጥ
The deep-seated need of these guys to act sophisticated when they are nothing of that sort is bottomless.
Re: ንፋለጥ እሞ ንማለጥ
Good points you made, Brother J. Let me add one more example.
Kerenaite is flattering when we address him as Eden. We played his tiny head as if we didn't distinguish between these two agames. It is obvious that these two are different people. At least eden has a better IQ than the agame man/woman who calls himself Kerenaite.
I am just sayin

What for an Amharic!!! I am impressed by my Amharic. No woder they begged me to lecture Amharic 101 at sidist kilo university, they even tried to kiss my foot but we disagreed on the method of payment. I insisted in US$ but they in birr.
I told this story to an amhara friend here whom I meet at a Greek bar every now and then in the evening, surprised he said: they may have allowed you to lecture for one day but the next day they would have pulled you from your shirt and threw you out of the campus. He added, with your such Amharic knowledge, you are not even fit to teach Amharic in an elementary school. Man! Do you see how MIKEGNA he is!!! With a friend like him who needs enemies.
Sunday sermons end here.
