PRESIDENT AFWERKI IS THE BEST LEADER FOR ERITREAN PEOPLE.

The western media the Economist published an article on date 26th May 2022 titled: Containing Eritrea the North Korea of Africa and that sanctions should be reimposed on Isaias Afwerki's regime.

The North Korea of Africa?

Refering to Eritrea as the North Korea of Africa should not be taken negatively the way Americans are portraying it because when you look at the supreme leader Kim Jong Un, he is not someone that can be intimidated by the West. He is not apologetic about his leadership. As an African woman, I see someone ruling his country the way he best know how and if not kow towing to the West makes him a dictator then so be it.

Comparing Eritrea to North Korea is actually good because Afwerki is also not bowing down to these neo colonialists the West.

According to the West, any leader who is not taking matching orders from them is considered a dictator and should be sanctioned.

So why does the West Isolate Eritrea?

Is it because apart from being independent from the former colony Italy, she is also independent from US Imperialism?

Is it because Eritrea's independence is dangerous to US interests?

Is it because Eritrea hasn't been subjected to US scheming neo liberal capitalism?

Is it because President Afwerki is an independent thinker?

Is it because he chose self reliance over dependency?

Is it because he did not allow the economic terrorists IMF and World Bank control Eritrea's economy?

Sanctions to be reimposed on Isaias Afwerki.

According to Imperialist USA, any African heads of state that is good to his people and to being a stooge to them is considered a dictator and should be sanctioned.

For three decades President Afwerki has kept his country away from US exploitative nature. So why should the West reimpose sanctions on this great man, a true son of the soil?

Is it because he doesn't travel around Europe begging for useless aid here and there?

Is it because he's protecting Eritrea's Sovereignty?

Is it because he doesn't allow millitary bullying?

Is it because despite the sanctions, Eritrea's economy continues to thrive?

Is it because he demands partnership over Eritrea's resources that benefits the entire nation something most African heads of state rarely do, they let Westerners control our resources and mines.

Or is it because he restricted/banned Western NGOs that has for many years destroyed African nations that allowed them in?

President Afwerki demands respect, dignity and honour for his nation.

Eritrea bad image from the Western Media.

There is no doubt that today whenever you google anything about Eritrea, you most likely won't find anything positive. It is always about genocide, escaping Eritrea, killing people, arrests and so on when in real sense the opposite is happening.

The western mainstream media has succeeded in manipulating and brainwashing Africans into thinking that Eritrea is a prison camp.

Asmara, the country's capital is also one the safest and cleanest city in Africa. No gun violence the way it happens in USA, zero crimes, women and children are highly respected and protected.

Eritrea has higher literacy rate compared to Egypt, Pakistan and Nigeria.

Higher life expectancy than Zambia, Mozambique, Nigeria, Malawi and Angola.

In 2020 when the entire world was subjected to a scam of a pandemic COVID-19 and the killer vaccines, Eritrea was the only country in Africa that did not mandate the Covid vaccine. The government gave citizens the ability to choose whether to take the vaccine or not. Apart from that Eritrea was also the only country that voted in favour of Russia during the Ukraine Russia war when almost the entire continent of Africa supported the money laundering of the corrupt USA in Ukraine.

Why Election and Democracy in Africa is NOT Important.

The past three decades, Eritrea hasn't held any election. My question is what is the point of having an election when that is the gate way the US uses to continue their neo colonialism agenda in Africa?

In most of Africa's election, the US is always having their preferred candidate that they support and coincidentally these candidates in most cases end up winning those elections. That is what we have seen in the last year 2022 and 2023 general election that happened in Kenya and Nigeria.

Every house negro in Eritrea wants everything Americans have that is democracy, election, constitution etc not knowing that Democracy is making our mother continent Africa lag behind.

Democracy is an illusion that doesn't exist.

Even the gods of democracy in Washington DC don't seem to practice what they preach and we all witnessed that during the Covid era.

Kenya is seen as the most democratic nation in East Africa, recently the President created 50 CAS positions that are unnecessary and unconstitutional just to reward his political friends that got rejected from the ballot by the people.

The vote that some Eritreans want to cast so bad is also never in the ballot.

Let African leaders choose the mode of leadership that is best suited for their country. We do not need to always do whatever Americans are doing. We can always create our system designed by us for us and that is exactly what President Afwerki is doing.

It is Afwerki's rules, it is his house. We can only rally behind and support him for he has proven to be a true Pan-Africanist and Nationalist that cares for his people and nation.

Eritrea will Host National Organic Fertilizer Conference

https://shabait.com/2023/04/15/eritrea- ... eaPrevails

The Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) and the Ministry of Marine Resources (MoMR) jointly will host a National Organic Fertilizer Conference under the theme – ‘Organic Fertilizers to Boost Safe & Nutritious Food Production!’‘ Production!’ from 26-27, April 2023 in Asmara.

According to the Public Relations Division of the MoA, the event will cover a number of paper presentations, video and poster shows; exhibitions, as well as field visits to solid and liquid fertilizers production sites.

During the conference, senior organic agriculture and related experts from Eritrea, Germany, Uganda, Rwanda, Benin and representatives from FAO, ASARECA and others will present research-based papers, case studies and their practical experiences.

Mr. Dermas Sultan

According to Mr. Dermas Sultan, Chairperson of the Organic fertilizers and Bio-pesticides Promotion Committee, papers on Promoting Sustainable Soil Management to increase Organic Resources in Farmlands and landscapes in Sub Saharan Africa; Organic Fertilizer with Microorganisms for Regenerative Farming Made in Eritrea, Promotion of Bokashi Fermented Organic; Fertilizer in Eritrea; Impact of Organic Fish Amino Acid and Seaweed Liquid Fertilizer on Plant Health and Yield; Farmers Perspective on solid and liquid organic fertilizer; The Response of Compost on crop yield; Crop Response to Green Manure; Regulating organic fertilizer etc. are expected to shed light on the current and future prospects of organic fertilizers with in the country and at regional and global levels.

The use of chemical fertilizers to boost agricultural yield has been a key element of modern agriculture, for the past few decades. However, excessive use and mismanagement of such inputs have also been causing environmental degradation, soil and water contamination, and subsequent human and animal health risks. To prevent further damage and restore the already affected farmlands, the focus of using yield-improving agricultural inputs has been directed towards application of organic and sustainable inputs.

Organic agricultural inputs are known to be of different types in terms of source of material, composition, and form (liquid or solid).

Mr. Temesgen Gebremeskel

Among the many different types, are those made from marine-based sources. According to Mr. Temesgen Gebremeskel, one of the coordinators of the conference representing the Marine Resources sector states that production of liquid fish amino acid and seaweed liquid fertilizers are of the major types of organic liquid fertilizers made from marine resources.

He noted that the MoMR took an initiative to produce fish amino acid and seaweed liquid fertilizers from discarded fish and beached seaweed, some years ago. Preliminary trials of the liquid fertilizers gave promising results, that the Ministry approached the MoA with findings of the pilot project. Concurrently, the MoA was involved in some pilot projects to introduce solid organic fertilizers. To harmonize both the initiatives, the ministries established a joint national technical committee, in February 2021, to boost the production of both solid and liquid fertilizers as well as biopesticides. After its establishment, the national committee has been conducting a number of trials in different agro-ecological areas of the country. According to Mr. Dermas Sultan, it is the output of these trials that gave rise to the idea of conducting a national conference with the following objectives;

• Presenting recent research outputs and agricultural innovations with regards to organic farming
• Promoting Eritrea’s achievements in the production and application of organic fertilizers
• Sharing experiences/ standpoints among national, regional and international experts
• Proposing a future strategic plan on the production and use of organic inputs in a larger scale
• Promoting further collaboration among participants and organizations
• Improving public awareness on the use of organic fertilizers

During the conference, more than 130 participants which include senior government officials, representatives of UN bodies, EU, ASARECA, EIDP, VITA, and other international organizations; experts and researchers and progressive farmers are expected to attend.
