There is no such a thing a non messy politics. it is this messiness that makes politics to thrive in every society. Out of this messiness comes some important decisions that makes or brakes the fabric of the society. This messiness is obvious in current Ethiopian politics. Political actors, group, party or individuals create this messy environment to achieve their political goals, mostly through confuse and convince strategies.
In the past five years Ethiopian politics has gone through a lot of messiness. The Bahirdar killing of Amhara regional leaders, the Killing of Hacaaluu, the war in Tigray and Oromia, to mention few, are all parts of the messy Ethiopian politics. As such there is no permanent alliance in politics due to the dynamic nature of politics as exemplified the so called Oromia alliance. Alliances formed at one point might not survive to the next depending on what the politicians wants to achieve.
Although the media paints a picture of Ethiopian politics as being only about Tigers, Amhara and Oromo, others who are about 30% of the Ethiopian population are also participating in this messy politics. Gurage's , Walliata's and wollo's aspiration to become own region are worth mentioning in this context.
So the question is that where does the current messy Ethiopian politics lead Ethiopians to? Is it going to lead to brake ups or something good will come out of this messiness?
