Getachew reda was put in that position by Blinken, besides he was abi's favorite candidate.
Abi has less grudge with him than with debretsion and Co. aka the veteran weyannes. If I am not mistaken, getachew reda was not in the field and was never a combatant (tagay).

Getachew politics is not different from than of the octogenarians. I do not see a bright future for him in politics. As long as TPLF exists Tigray will continue to have war with its neighbors: Amharas, Afaras and Eritreans. He will be the spokesperson of that war because he is the only who can communicate with the outside world in English.
