The Mountain of God’s Glory
The Lord said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and stay here...” Then Moses went up on the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain. The glory of the LORD dwelt on mountain, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. Now the appearance of the glory of the LORD was like a devouring fire on the top of the mountain. Moses entered the cloud and went up on the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights. (Exodus 24:15-18)

In Eritrea, a Muslim mosque and a Christian church can be found right next to each other. Such close proximity shows that harmony in diversity, religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence is a central part of who we are as people and nation.
