What does that even means "diaspora tries to twist & weaponize it to get their political will inside Ethiopia" There are members of the diaspora who are supporting the rotten system of Abiy either because they are bribed or because of naivete or because of tribal loyalty, and there are other Ethiopian who are supporting the struggle for Justice and democracy in Ethiopia and support the struggle for it. Diaspora plays as always a supporting role, the heavy lifting for democracy and justice is done by Ethiopians within, who are suffering daily because of the archaic tribal system.
