Ethiopia, China Discuss on Ways to Strengthening Economic Ties





Addis Ababa (ENA) February 26/2023 Ethiopian high level delegation led by Finance Minister, Ahmed Shide had a fruitful discussion with his counterpart of the People’s Republic of China, Liu Kun in Beijing, on ways of strengthening economic partnership between the two countries.


During the occasion, Ahmed commended for China’s unwavering support to Ethiopia’s fight against poverty and home-grown economic transformation.

He emphasized that, the ever-growing China-Africa cooperation in terms of trade and investment is based on mutual respect, shared benefit and policy independence.

Chinese Finance Minister, Liu Kun warmly welcomed the delegation and on his part explained the experience that, how China booming its economy and so that the tangible and incredible outcome that lifted more than 800 million people from poverty in short period of time.

Kun assured to work more closely with the ministry of finance of Ethiopia to further enhancing the economic cooperation of the two countries, according to the embassy of Ethiopia in Beijing.

This SOB and his obsession with Muslims reminds me of 2 stories which can be associated to him, to me, he is a donkey.

1. A donkey and a monkey argue about the color of the grass. The donkey insists it is BLACK and the monkey tells him no it is GREEN and not black, the donkey gets mad and tries to punch the monkey. The animals who were around them advised them to see the king (the lion) and present their case. Both concurred and approached the lion.

The lion asked what brought you here to me?

The monkey told the lion, we have an argument about the color of the grass. The donkey insisted that it is balck and I said it is green.

The lion told the monkey, here is my decision, you are banished from my area for 3 months and I don't want to see you here.

The monkey shocked asks the lion if he was wrong when he said the color of the grass is GREEN and why he is punished.

The lion responds, of course it is green but I AM BANISHING YOU FROM MY AREA FOR 3 MONTHS BECAUSE YOU DEBATED WITH A DONKEY.

In most countries, citizens and residents pay tax to the state to receive basic services – they part with a certain percent of their income expecting roads, railways, hospitals and schools to be built and maintained, social and cultural services to be developed and the nation’s sety to be ensured.

My home country, Eritrea, is not like most countries. Those living in this small, isolated low-income country on the Red Sea coast receive nothing other than anguish in exchange for their taxes. Eritrea’s roads are neglected, buildings are deteriorating and the very limited resources allocated to the country’s schools are used not to educate pupils but to indoctrinate them with state propaganda. The country’s taps have run dry, and only limited water is available for purchase in jerry cans. Electricity and petrol are also scarce and rationed.
