Obviously, your are president for life. What type of power transition

Post by Dark Energy » 19 Feb 2023, 13:24

are preparing in case of the inevitable asked the reporter in Kenya gazing at President Isayas Afewerqi. He never expected it. He replied to her that she is listening too much western propaganda. BTW, I am not sure that he isn't connected to the West at all. He was very annoyed and seemed to have at loss of proper response. He goes back to Eritrea and holds a couple of interviews and talks about the people of Tigray, the safety of Ethiopia bla bla bla. This is a man who has been there for 50+ years in charge . He is supposed to address the Eritrean people local problems and possible solutions. I wonder what his supporters see in this. Is he the only and only savior of the Eritrean nation ? If that is the case, Eritrea future as a nation is very dark. There is no one super man that can save the nation all by himself. He needs to be accountable. He is not. It may not be his fault at all. He led the struggle. He was successful, but he didn't do it by himself. Thousands of Eritrean youngsters paid with their precious life to do so. The youngsters who died to help Abbiy stay in power are just victims. History will not be kind to them. Their families, I hope God gives them strength and move on with life.

Well put bro!

Worse yet to come, he is planning to rule us from the grave as well. He is on high gear preparing his elder son to inherit the throne.

Brother Kerenait,

If that happens, I will shut my big mouth for good.   But; I doubt Eritreans would accept that. However, Eritrean public cohesiveness does not seem to exist. The people are divided along regional and religious lines for now. It is just like what happened during the federation era’s of the 50’s. All Eritreans will realize national interest comes before religious or regional interest, worse yet individual interest. I hope.

Brother Kerenait,

My biggest concern is Eritrean sovereignty. As long as Eritrean sovereignty is not compromised, I will be okay even if Abraham inherits the presidency. The biggest challenge is keeping Eritrean sovereignty in tact. Unfortunately, it’s sovereignty is at risk with foreign forces and their native agents working together to water it down.
