It is a mess for the UN to investigate the immensity of the crime and the parties involved. If I have to guess, no one is going to be hold accountable for this by the UN. As long as the powerful members of the UN are divided (only looking for their own interest), the existence of the organization itself is in doubt. Without some kind of effective world wide organization, the world itself is at risk.
