Birr or any currency around the world is just plain paper until the citizens produce goods and bring to market domestically and export goods to make the worthless paper printed to be converted to currency for exchange goods and services. The tax paid by citizen will come back to the same citizen in the form of budget and the budget distributed in the form of the country printed paper as currency of the country for exchange purposes. If Ethiopia does not want to release its currency then Tigray will print its own currency in order goods and services to be exchanged among citizen of Tigray. There will not be any lose for Tigray by halting distributing budget. You cannot distribute budge unless the federal collects taxes and other cash crops from each regions of the country. Tigray has a means to convert its new printed paper currency to hard currency to do business with the rest of the world, what is the big deal for Qo’mata birr currency for Tigray or any ethnic of the country specially for Oromia???

Halafi,
I don’t think you clearly understand about Fiat currency. Yes, you can print money but unless you have a solid monetary policy and backed up by a strong economy it is useless. You can’t survive a day on your own.
Declare independence. Put up or shut up.

What monetary policy and strong economy Bologna maids had to print their own currency??? Currency is nothing but a means of exchange one good or service for another within the country citizens. If that country has exporting goods then the importer would buy the good by their currency or another hard currency accepted in international banking system. Tigray has many goods to export cash crop and Gold the leading exporter of Ethiopia ethnics except coffee. Those alone will be enough for Tigray economy to import goods they need like capital goods for manufacturing and others for agriculture and medicine until it produce its own. Tigray will have the biggest sugar factory and will sale them to outside world to bring hard currency. Tigray will have industrious hard working youth to attract investors to plant their factories and sale them around the world and will garnish another hard currency.

Halafi,
You have to be the moronest
Agame around to imagine that all it takes is a color printer, some fancy graphics, and quality paper to make money. Money is not the paper, it is the confidence people have on the paper. As we are seeing these days with crypto currencies, you don't even need paper. Now all Agames may agree to have the Dedebit
as their currency. They may use it to barter between themselves, but they can't even use it to import the rotten wheat which USAID provides gratis
Before you start to vomit your idiotic replies, do you know of any non-sovereign entity which has ever printed its own money?
Agames have a lot of problems, stupidity being at the top. It might have helped if these morons started to reflect seriously on root causes instead of hallucinating about idiotic solutions to their self-inflicted problems.
