ኣደብ ክትመሃር፡ መንደላይ ምስሓጎማ

ኣማእታት ኣሽሓት፡ ካብ ደቃ ለኪማ
ካብ ዝሰረቐቶ መሬት፡ ተኾብኪባ ሃዲማ
ንዋናታቱ ኣረኪባ፡ ወልቃይት ባድማ
ሰፍ ዘይብል ስዕረት፡ ውርደት ተሰኪማ
ከተራግፍ ዕጥቃ፡ ኣብ ፕረቶርያ ፈሪማ
ትቕበር እንሄልኩም፡ ጁንቲት እግሪ ጎማ።

እዚ ዝስዕብ መኣረምታ ግን እንተዝግበረላ፡
ኣብ ክንዲ "ኣስናና ኣራጊፉ፡ ሕቖኣ ምስ ቀርሰማ" ትኸውን፡ "ኣስናና ኣራጊፉ፡ ኣእዳዋ ምስ ቀርሰማ" ምሓሸ።

Point well taken. But there is what is known as "poetic license" that allows it
