The trouble makers obviously are the Federal government of the prime minister and Oromia shimmies government. All their 10 fingers have been in. you are blaming the none existence troublemakers of the state. while the government has been breaking churches, killing believers, and putting in jail those who want to express their rejection of the government's involvement in the religion by wearing black clothes. You are so sophomoric in your political dexterity. Supporting the government is your prerogative but to think that we don't know you are marshaling none sense to defend the undefendable is completely another . Going back to your point " your plate tectonics theory applies only to Orthodox Christian Oromos but not to Muslim Oromos
Have you heard any Muslim Oromo, or for that matter Muslim Amharas complaining about learning Koran in Arabic, none? Actually, they marvel at their ability to pray in Arabic. The same goes for most Amharic speaking, who don't know Gezz. Those who can sing or cite Geez help believers understand what it is. The same goes for Catholic churches, It was never the issue. The same goes for Oromos, people might learn to sing in Gezz but they learn the bible in their own language. So if you pull out this tribalist Amhara church labeling, what you have is that those who are learning locally pray and sing, learn in their language about the heavenly things, they are not in the business of worldly political dispensation. Church dogmas and politics have their own domain for reason, and they don't mix. However you want to dress it up, what you are advocating for is unbridle tribalist political arrogance, while disregarding law and order.

Why are the Oromos obsessed with the Orthodox Church? The church has been there long before the Oromo invasion of Ethiopia in 1500. Fine with adopting the religion and be faithful.

This is faith not a game of competition. If they want they can create their own Oromo Orthodox. They can hang a piece of meat on their forehead and pray in their church. Nobody cares. I am not a Christian and I don’t care for religion but I am against this kind of savagery and arrogance. We know Amahara is the target. This unnecessary and unprovoked crisis is all about Amhara.

Don’t mess with the Ethiopian Orthodox Church or any other church / religion as the church respects everyone as a children of God.

I heard Taye Denda of OPDO say along the line of " There are two ways you can build a tall building " skyscraper " one by destroying all the tall buildings around you to appear tall, or you engineer a taller building bigger and taller than its surroundings. The radical Oromouma Mogassist obsession is to destroy everything around them so that they feel better about themselves. What you can call a race to the bottom. It just took them 4 years to reach it. To be fair to Mr. Taye Denda he argued for the latter.
