I am sure this number came before the good hearted Weyane’s donations of the newer, T-72 and the brand new tanks it once owned that “ gave” to Shaebia in the last two years. Once the numbers are updated, I have no doubt it will put Eritrean between #5-#10.
I was in Asmara last summer and anyone who drove to “Asha Golgol”, one of the few the storage or armament of the Eritrean Defense Forces, you could see as far as eye can see, a shiny brand new tanks, that I estimate to be ove a thousands, are being repainted a number of their assigned Mechanized division and with their small Eritrean flag embedded on the side. I have no doubt, these are taken from the good hearted Weyane and some perhaps seemed a brand new with their paint protector cover still visible, which means, they never been driven anywhere for combat, thus, just arrived from overseas.
