A faction of TPLF forces, reportedly led by Gen. Megbey Haile and Brig. Gen. Abreha Tesfay Berhe (Dinkul), are threatening to drail the Ethiopia peace deal as they continue to control large parts of Tigray and refuse to take part in the AU-led disarmament process.
Worst case scenario: The Ethiopian national defense forces and its allied forces may resort to the use of force against this anti-peace element of the TPLF, if all the peaceful means are exhausted.

Here's a real story about Gen. Megbey from mid Oct. when he was told the mighty___ army (wink-wink) is moving towards Shire (where he'd his entire army dug in), he fled to Adi Gozomo by a car w/ his bodyguards. The next day, he sent a msg to his troops & then drove to Adwa.

I wholeheartedly believe they are operating at the direction of TPLF senior leadership or military command, led by Tadesse Werede.
If TPLF doesn't disarm this "faction", it is ONLY b/c it wants them to derail the peace process that it has no intent of honoring!
