As a revenge against Ethiopia for supporting the establishment of Israel , the Arabs initiated a two prong military, political , diplomatic and ideological war against Ethiopia as illustrated below:
(1) To disintegrate Ethiopia
- Establishment of the Eriteria separatist liberation front ( ELF/Jebha) under sponsorship of Egypt and Algeria which started a separation gorella armed struggle against the Ethiopian government. ELF gave birth to Isaias party EPLF and inspired and/or trained other separatist movements that are still operating and destabilizing Ethiopia .
( 2) To control the central power of Ethiopia
- Establishment of EPRP under the sponsorship of Palastine( PLO) and Algeria. Similarly the establishment of EPRP inspired the formation of other political parties and brought the 1974 revolution that removed Emperor Haileslassie from power and took the country toward the Socialist block , blood shed , civil war and perpetual self inflicted destruction and poverty.
The fruits of the above two pronged wars are still active in Ethiopia and the only way to heal Ethiopia is to address the root cause of the problem.
