In this exemplary peace deal everybody WON BIG because it puts an end to massacres and deaths from all sides. This also means that we can calm down, reflect in peace, breath deep and heal our mental, social, psychological and physical stresses and slowly but surely turn our attention towards developing our communal, regional, national and international comfort zones so as to become wealthy, healthy and happy both physically and mentally.

That is what our children, grand children, great grand children down the line may come to remember us all in positive and admiring spirits. No one will come to appreciate and admire our life time activities if it is mainly about hate , hate mongering and killing human beings as well as being killed by other human being specially when there are better alternative life styles and values.

Surely it is understandable that long running agitations, propaganda and conflict mongering may not get turned off automatically but given time peace will prevail over war.

That move also deprives their masters the 'humanitarian' rehteoric that has been deafening our ears for the last tweo years just to use it as a vehicle to put pressure and to sanction Eritrea and Ethiopia. It would also provide some diplomatic mileage to Abiy.

The other important provision in the agreement (at least as far as I understand it) is its exclusion of any Western partners to oversee the implementation of the process; what that means is Agames political relevance in general and TPLF's in particular in Ethiopia will be at the mercy and goodwill of the Federal government for the forseeable future.......

Actually it is a matter of perspective but this arrangement is NOT at all any liability for the Tigryan people but a blessing in disguise because that is the way how all nations and governments on the planet function. The Tigryan people will have peace, electricity, fresh water supply, good hospitals, good clinics, good schools, good investments, trained labor forces, vibrant agriculture and animal husbudary every where, etc.

The unbearable stresses, pains, wounds, deaths, uncertainties of lives and livings , burdensome endless fighting in all directions and getting killed and killing almost at all times may come to end. In reality it is like coming out of hell and discovering the new Garden of Eden. The democratically elected government of Ethiopia will take care of everything in accordance with the law of the country.

Honestly, I was thinking the same. The fact is TPLF knows very well what it means for the people of Tigray when the federal government controls Tigray towns and cities. TPLF knows it means unhindered aid access, people get food and medical supplies. It also means starting basic services such as electricity and banking services which have already partially started in towns such as Korem and Shire.

With the agreement to completely disarm Tigray fighters and handover Tigray administration to an interim government that’s run by the federal government, TPLF very well knowns that it means peace, access to aid and medical supplies and basic services. Furthermore it means Tigray getting federal budget and it also means rebuilding of Tigray infrastructures such as hospitals, schools, universities and roads.

All in all, it’s by now clear that the so called genocide scare tactics was nothing but the fear of “genocide” on the TPLF leaders as they could get killed in combat just like Seyoum Mesfin and Abay Tsehaye. The moment the leaders got amnesty, the whole genocide fear disappeared because it was fake in the first place. TPLF knows the federal government brings more prosperity and wellbeing for the people of Tigray than TPLF’s devastating rule of the last 2 years.

The western governments and institutions made a mockery of the word genocide and of the victims of true genocide by going along the TPLF propaganda and echoing the same BS.

I agree with you on all your views regarding the gains that comes with peace. And with peace I mean, real peace, agreed by real people that mean what they say and do what they have agreed to do. I know the Ethiopian government wants peace above everything else evidenced by its actions and statements through the years of its existence but unfortunately as they say it takes two to tango.

For peace to be real in Tigray. The tigray people must be freed from the lies and poisonous woyane propaganda that have ruined millions of people in that part of the world and surrounding areas. I agree it is just a switch away. But Mamo Killo is probably surrendering too much for fear he wouldn't be able to maintain his power due to America's pressures. I guess why he just labeled Amharas "Shane " is to start attacking Amharas on behalf of Woyanes. If you noticed Blinken right after the african leaders summit, he named Eritrea by name as a force to be removed from Tigray. Before the summit, they used to say foreign forces. I guess Mamo Killo gave them the green light to push Eritrea out of Tigray. Now, I am not in favor of Eritrea staying in Tigray, but I don't want another violence to push it out either, especially woyane teaming up with ENDF and America in the fighting. America has been on Eritrea’s back since PIA opposed their invasion of Somalia after warning them it would end in disasters; which embarrassingly ended that way as he predicted. Therefore, calling Eritrea’s name negatively on everything happened in E. Africa isn’t their first. They also been accusing and threatening Eritrea the day Weyane massacred the Northern command. Remember, Eritrea was forced to defend itself from attack by the Weyane; first, they attempt to cross to Eritrea in persuading the disarmed and fleeing Northern command ENDF soldiers. Eritrea was able to prevent a mass massacre of the ENDF soldiers after it counterattacked the Weyane and naturalized them at the border. Second; the Weyane fired aimlessly rockets to Eritrea. Now, the US never condemned the Weyane’s crimes nor the withdrawal of Weyane soldiers from Eritrean territories, such as Badme for 20 years. They are suddenly concerned about Eritrea’s occupation of Tigrean lands. When were they for 20 years? That’s the reason why the Eritrean government never take their threats and warnings seriously.

The US is a paper tiger and can’t afford to confront Eritrea on behalf of their dead slave militarily. It won’t end well just like in Somalia; not to mention, Eritrea has well armed and extremely well trained forces than Somalia.

What you also kept mentioning of the possible coalition of ENDF and Weyane in near future. Well, ENDF is a laughable force. We have seen what m a rag tag ill trained Weyane fighters have done to it.
