Me too not a fan of Argentina but I am happy that they won.

The supermacist europeans would always like to be the champions in every aspect in the world, be it in sport or what have you.

Bravo Argentina, at least you don't represent Europe but rather Latin America aka south america.

The next world cup in 2026 will be hosted by uncle sam and canada. I hope and pray that an african team or a non-europrean team will be the champion.

It’s ironic that none of the Latin American teams like Argentina. Argentina is generally hated in their continent while liked by Africans. Maradona introduced me to soccer in 1986 & took my enthusiasm with him. I have never rooted for a specific team since then. Having said that, I don’t think Europeans wanted a France win either.

Argentina played superbly in the first half. They deserved their lead. However, they showed some complacency in the second half. They were not closing down the opponent as much as they did in the first half. They were happy to sit back and frustrate France. When Coman was introduced he revitalised France by making good runs and passes. In fact, he had a great contribution in the second goal.

I am so happy Argentina won the World Cup as it means a lot for one of my favourite players (Messi). He deserves the win as he is arguably the best player (Maradonna in mind) ever.

Do you know the history of Africans in Argentina and why it is the only country in SA without blacks despite its history of slavery? The black population have been wiped out deliberately. Argentina has a history of ugly racism and even today blacks can’t walk in BS without being harassed and insulted. Argentina is not a friend of Ethiopia. Always take the opposite side against Ethiopia.
In sport you can cheer to anyone your heart side with. It is the “ liked by Africans” generalization that does not make sense.

Agreed, Argentina is the most racist team in the continent but please check social media. For example, Ethiopias are celebrating Argentina’s win. And obviously, other African countries dislike France due to its colonialism legacy.

I was following arab medias today, many are surprised, the French even in their main medias coverage they threw some sort of derogatory terms for their black compatriots.

Shame on them.

Argentines are as racist as you can get in the world. They are and will tell you so in your face. They are proud of their history of wiping out the black population.

I really don’t know how and why Ethiopian soccer fans are crying for Argentina. Some of us are not bright.

Those idiotic & hateful European soccer fans celebrate their black players when their team wins & abuse them when they lose. That means their support isn’t real to begin with.

Unlike other Latin American countries who mainly descended from the Aztecs, Incas and Africa and to some extent mixed, Argentinians portray & pride themselves as “pure white” & discriminate everyone else.

I recall my eri bothers were vacationing in argentina.


In a local in buenos aires. They say the waiteresses just ignored us. We sat for 15 minites but we were just ignored.

Our next stop was Brasil. Here we thougjt we are in afica and indeed it was africa.

I avoid vacationing in racist & terrorist countries & Argentina is one of them. Israel is another.
