GENEVA, Dec 14 (Reuters) - The head of the World Health Organization said on Wednesday that Eritrean troops "murdered" his uncle in the Tigray region of Ethiopia.
Eritrean Information Minister Yemane Gebremeskel did not respond to requests for comment on the allegations.
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, a former Ethiopian minister who comes from Tigray, has previously been a vocal critic of Ethopia's role in the conflict that has killed tens of thousands and displaced millions.

)The WHO director appears desperate much like his terrorist TPLF leaders in Tigray and much like them has been falsely/repeatedly crying wolf ever since the terrorist TPLF launched/started the war on the region from their base camp of Tigray in November2020.
The desperate Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has been using his WHO office/position as his own personal foreign ministry on behalf of the terrorist TPLF of Tigray. Increasingly he is coming under criticism & pressure for his abuse of power and using the name/likeness of WHO as a means to cosign the preposterous/unfounded/debunked allegations he has been spewing so far to date under the sheepskin cover of WHO & UN.
Many unsuspecting people outside the HoA don't even know that this crying wolf was a member of the Central Committee of the terrorist TPLF of Tigray before he was "given"/landed his current job as WHO director beginning in 2017. However between 2012 thru 2016 he was serving as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia (which was at the tail end of terrorist TPLFs almost 30years defacto rule over Ethiopia from 1991-thru-2018).
What's more is that there are numerous suspicions that special interest groups/persons helped to elevate him to role of WHO director. If you even look up his WHO interview process & even his capacity as Minister of Health in Ethiopia(2005-2012, courtesy of TPLF rule/control of Ethiopia at the time), you will begin to wonder/question how he even qualified for WHO director position.
